World record holding pair The E-bike Cycle Tourists have spent the last two years riding around the world on a pair of Haibike e-bikes.
In January 2016 the Corbetts - Gary and Rachel - set the long distance e-bike riding world record of 16,048km which they set over a period of just under a year after setting off from London in April 2015.
Their journey came after Gary came home one day with the proposition that the couple sell all of their worldly belongings and head out on an e-bike adventure.

Rachel was quick to agree to the idea, despite a bout of salmonella causing a secondary bladder infection which subsequently lead to acute reactive arthritis which slowly immobilised her.
Not one to allow something like arthritis to get in the way of a challenge, Rachel battled through the pain and found that riding the e-bike actually helped her recovery.
The pair published a blog post on their remarkably thorough blog after the video was published which focused on the importance of the message of their journey rather than the incredible feat itself.
Gary, a former journalist, wrote in the blog post that "While the eight minute-long documentary is an amazing record of our once-in-a-lifetime journey, more importantly, we believe, is the fact that it highlights everything that is great about modern-day e-bikes.
"It doesn’t matter whether you are a fearless 20-something-year-old carving up the mountain bike trails on a state-of-the-art full suspension eMTB or an 80-year-old who has swapped retirement home bingo sessions for the thrill of cycling again, the fact of the matter is that e-bikes are for EVERYONE."
