How was your weekend? Ours was a lot of fun: we went up to Cannock Chase in the midlands for our second Bike Live event of the year. And what a great day out it was! The sun shone, the roads were quiet and the trails were dusty. There were all sorts of bikes to try out, from Moustache city e-bikes and Haibike e-MTBs to top-end Canyon road bikes, and lots more.
We had well over a hundred eager testers on the day, and everyone seemed to have a great time testing a wide range of bikes. The roadies had a go on the e-MTBs and the mountain bikers had a buzz round on the road bikes... We're all just one big happy family really! Thanks to all the brands who put in such an effort, and of course to you the readers for making the day such a success.
Next up: Bike Live Dalby Forest, 17 June
We're doing it all again! Bike Live will be heading to North Yorkshire in June for a grand day out in Dalby Forest. Once again there'll be e-bikes for road and off-road, as well as lots of non-powered road bikes and mountain bikes to have fun on too.
Get your early bird ticket for £20
Attending Bike Live costs £30: not bad for a full day of riding posh bikes in the sunshine* and not having to wash them or wrestle them into the car for the drive home. But if you book early you can get a tenner off that, just £20 for the day. Given that we've had people come up to us and tell us they've managed to ride £30,000 worth of bikes in a day, that's not a bad deal!
*Disclaimer: sun may not shine. It will though. Probably.
