E-bikes v cancer

I'm absolutely delighted to have read this piece. I must confess that I've been avoiding it. The same cancer got my Dad ten years ago, he could have retired at 60, didn't, retired at 65 fit as a fiddle, more meat on a butcher's pencil etc. Diagnosed 6 months later and dead at 67. So your story delights me no end, please keep it up assisted or otherwise. To everyone else, don't ignore the signs, don't put off going to Dr's and if you're in any doubt get a second opinion. Being prudent cost nothing.

Thanks, Paul and Rendel! E-bikes really are remarkable eh?

I'm afraid I plan to keep using "acoustic bike" not least because it annoys pedants Smile

I've come a bit late to this John, just wanted to say glad to hear that things have gone well so far and long may that continue. Thank you for the excellent justification for ebikes as well, I first got one to help me through the side effects of chemotherapy (not for cancer) and it was a godsend.

Congrats on the recovery so far, and fingers crossed for you on the road ahead.

Though "acoustic bike" is still an atrocity against the language.
