We normally think of electric cargo bikes as a last-mile solution: great for moving stuff around cities, but not really designed for the long haul. Others think differently, though, and among them is Ed Oxley, one of the founders of British clothing manufacturers HebTroCo. The company uses two e-Bullitt electric cargo bikes as company vehicles, and Ed rode one of them from the Bullitt's home in Copenhagen back to Hebden Bridge, a distance of over 900 miles.

Ed collected the bike from Larry vs Harry, the Bullit's creators, in Copenhagen and then filled it with HebTroCo merchandise. On the way back he set up pop-up-shops in Berlin, Rotterdam and Shipley. Ed averaged between 60 and 100 miles a day, using up to three batteries' worth of power depending on the terrain. A proper adventure, especially considering that you're not exactly guaranteed fine weather in Northern Europe in January, as you'll see. Here's the video. Enjoy!
